We're crazy. We've only been in our house 2 years and we're starting to build another house. That's because we met the deadline for our new house to be approved before laws limiting the size of houses in this area were enacted. Soooooooooo. Here we go again. This is the old house being torn down. It was quick. The foundation for the new house should be dug next week. 
Wow, I didn't know you got the demo permit. Way to get on the ball. I am excited to see the progress you will have made on the new house by the time we come up to visit.
