Getting Away From It All

It's not a secret that Wes and I look for opportunities to warm up during the cold winter months.  It is helpful that some of our family live in delightfully toasty places and they don't mind us showing up once in a while.  We had a blast!

Sabrina and Brett's friends invited us over for turkey and games on Thanksgiving.  Yum Yum!

Visiting Old Tucson was lots of fun.  The kids especially loved the old train.

Trent and Amelia ran a 5K soon after we arrived in Vegas for Christmas.

TJ and Ayla visited the jolly old elf himself.

TJ was happy with his Chuck and Friends truck that Santa gave him.
Ayla loved that whole Christmas experience.

Amelia and TJ had a fun time sliding down Mt. Charleston.

TJ wanted to make sure that Ayla didn't miss out of the fun and pulled her around.

Debbie joined us for a few days and shared a hot dog with her dad.  She was a big help with the kids.
Grandma and Grandpa Heiner, Paul, Marie, and Kelsi came to visit too.  I wish I had thought to take some 4 generation photos.  Hopefully we can take care of that soon.

On our way out of town we stopped by a train museum.  It was a fun way to end the trip.

Our winter holidays were delightful!
